Review: The Theory of Attraction by Delphine Dryden

The Theory of AttractionA smokin’ hot kinky geek and the girl next door…

Camilla is pretty much the girl next door. She lives and works amongst geeks. Although she’s friends with everyone, she keeps to herself. She swears she’s not a stalker, but she can’t help it that she knows her next door neighbor’s schedule to the T. Perhaps that is due to the fact that he is a total hunk who won’t bother to look her way.

Ivan is the smokin’ hot geek next door. He’s a freaking scientist! He has no time (well it appears as if he doesn’t) for anything else but his darn experiments. He’s so focused on his experiments, and the breakthrough he’s about to make, as well as the funding he needs, that he can care less for a social life. No one’s ever seen him with a girlfriend so many think him gay. Oh boy! How wrong he proves them.

Ivan asks Camilla for help in learning how to be more approachable. He needs the funds for his project, and the only way he can secure them is at an event coming up. He knows he sucks at conversation, honestly trying to be sociable is pure torture for him. Of course Camilla accepts, how can she not. She’s got the hots for him, plus she genuinely wants to help him out.

Camilla takes Ivan under her wing, and in her lessons she does things to see how he’ll react. Well, she never expects that one innocent (well maybe not so innocent) tease, and a flirty conversation (where she playfully gives control over to him) would flip things upside down. Oh gosh, is the joke on her?!

Ivan is a geek yes, but he is one gorgeous-kinky (as in BDSM) son of a gun… Need I say more?? Goodness, the things he teaches and does to her! And Camilla is no prude, let me just say that. Nuh-uh, she’s more than a willing participant. Then, their sense of humor is kinda out there, and yet it is funny.

Talk about things are not what they seem, this is the perfect story to prove just that.

I liked it, and I liked it a LOT.
