It’s been a while since I last wrote a post on Netflix recommendations. But I like taking my time finding new shows and determining whether they’re worth recommending. Why recommend something I haven’t truly watched or something I’m not sure I’ll enjoy through the end, right?
Lately, I’ve watched romance, comedy, action and everything in between. There are a few shows I still haven’t made up my mind about, so I’ll give them some more thought before I open my mouth to recommend them.
In the meantime, check out these 3 Netflix shows that are binge worthy. In my opinion anyway.
If you like suspense and plot twists you can never imagine, this is your show. The dead are alive again, and they don’t know what’s happened to them or where they’ve been. Slowly, they remember their names, who they were and where they lived. Some have been dead for centuries, others have been dead for a couple of years. I feel sorry for the guy, who ends up with two wives and finds he’s still in love with his ex-wife, who up until now was dead. The problem is he also loves his new wife, who happens to be his deceased wife’s best friend. Is that crazy or what?
This is sort of like an apocalyptic show. An experiment goes wrong and the world as we know it collapses… more like it is submerged under water and everyone dies with the exception of those aboard La Estrella Polar. Apparently, 40 lucky students won a marine scholarship, and they were at the right place at the right time when the nuclear experiment went awry. They think they’re the only ones alive, but as time goes on they discover there are others alive and that there might still be 1% of land somewhere. The hope keeps them alive. Then, there’s the drama and romance. Ulises and Aihnoa are my favorite couple in this voyage.
This show gives me the chills. It’s about Pablo Escobar’s main hitman and his story after he surrendered. He knew if he stayed with Escobar his days were counted, so he played the law as best he could. He parted ways with Escobar and went to jail. That is where everything starts. The things this man did in jail are mindfucking. The gore details that they show made me want to throw up at times. You can totally binge watch this show, but maybe two or three episodes at a time. This is recommended only if you like drama, action and then some.
